How Twitter Changed My Artistic Goals ~ 3 in the series

It has been a while since I have talked about my Twitter series, so I decided to pick a special Twitter friend for this installment! If you are new to my series head on over to this link to learn what it's all about! "How Twitter Changed My Artistic Goals ~ 2 in the series." I have previously featured Aaron Caycedo-Kimura and Paulo J. Mendes, two wonderful artists!

When I first started "tweeting", I did not know the ins and outs or the etiquette involved. The first time I experienced "FollowFriday" was a bit overwhelming! There was this one face showing up constantly! I thought wow; this person sure does follow a lot of people! Now granted I was not following many people at this point, but I can still say that this face is a constant for #followfriday! For those artists who tweet I am pretty sure you've figured out who I'm featuring this week....Melody Lea Lamb!

Melody is an amazing artist, her work shows a level of talent and professionalism that is hard to find. She states that she is "an artist who paints miniatures of animals and mythical beings," but she is also so much more. Her work is beautiful and does provide the intense intimacy that she works to achieve. Of all the artists I follow, I must admit she is the only one that I have purchased work from...a terrific Wild Boar ornament.

I truly learned how to be a "good FollowFriday" tweeter from Melody. She recognizes each artist individually, which requires quiet a bit of effort. The most wonderful aspect of Melody is the support she provides to fellow artists. She will always takes the time to look at a picture posted and let you know what she thinks, and "retweet!" Although I have never met her in person, I just know from how she expresses herself that the joy I sense and experience is real. This is a woman who is enjoying her life, and that should be inspiration to all of us.

Make sure you are following Melody; she will inspire you every day! Here are some links to her work:
